Free expression of form using rapid-prototyping technology. The work “Cells” explores the constraints of size and volume of the PolyJet™ 3-D printing technology. The curved telescopic structure was printed in a collapsed mode and later on extended into a 9.5 meter body. The units can be fixed in multiple variations allowing forms to take shape in space.
